Award-Winning Project / Paradise Pad.

Started during lockdown, Cynthia Tranel along with her husband from the local construction company, Tranel Group, brought an idea to reality: Paradise Pad, a high-end spec home project that was 4 years in the making. She designed it from the ground up with no client in mind including the architecture and interior, he built it, it went on the market, and got sold to a lucky family. From walking the lot when there was no house to dreaming up their vision, it has been so rewarding to see it transform from concept to completion.

“When designing this home, I wanted to create a livable luxury, embracing our signature aesthetic of timeless interiors, a project that truly embodies every hallmark we want our designs to stand for... natural yet refined, comfortable yet elevated, high impact yet livable, warm yet intriguing.”

With a focus on quality construction, impressive proportions, and attention to detail, this house hosts 5 generous-size suites with private comfort as priority. The modern design utilizes an open floor plan that integrates the outdoor pool and BBQ area with the interior of the home. The clean lines of the architecture flow from the front driveway through the living spaces and out to the pool. The moment you walk into this home you will notice the expansive space that leads your eyes to the beautiful canal views. The house is situated facing South to allow for ample exposure to the Cayman sunrise and sunsets.

The kitchen was intentionally designed with character and richness, using the highest quality materials. The mix of natural and dark tones sets the vibe for the entire home. The cabinetry and all details throughout the house were custom designed down to the tee. We uniquely reimagined interiors and distinguished our designs by creating thoughtful details from floor to ceiling.

To complement the architecture and interior, furniture, bedding, and accessories were all sourced from our boutique shop Label C.

“We love blurring the lines between indoor and outdoor. It’s a special occurrence when patios become expanded living rooms, and nature is right outside. Blending timeless elegance with modern functionality securing a one-of-a-kind dwelling.”

The primary suite was designed to feel like a luxurious hotel suite, compact where you have all what you need, yet spacious and comfortable with the most beautiful canal views. As you step in, you are greeted by a 15 foot ceiling with an impressive void carved out of it that transmits a sense of serenity. The scale exaggeration and natural materials abundantly add to the feeling of well-being. 10 foot custom pocket doors between the bedroom and bathroom area were added for when partition is needed. The flow and light penetrating in between produce a harmonious entity.

“The cabinetry, interior doors, and all details were custom designed with quality on top of mind. His and her closet expands on each side of the suite with natural oak panels and an integrated vanity moment. With a palette of soft tones, marble countertops, brass accents, and oak millwork, the primary suite strives to be a sophisticated simplicity fueled by an intentional design approach.”

Elevated, warm, and infused with natural beauty, this house is a legacy full of soulful spaces that feel wholeheartedly home.

A self-care masterpiece scene, the primary bathroom was designed with a built-in tub that extends to form a bench in the shower area. The shower is a steam shower for two. The plumbing fixtures selected from Waterworks not only elevate the aesthetic of the bathroom but also boast a beautiful patina that promises to age gracefully, enhancing the charm and character of the space over time. The traditional handmade Moroccan tile incorporated in the shower, with its rich thickness and perfect imperfection, adds a layer of authentic, tactile beauty that is unmatched.

Every detail, from the choice of materials to the flow of space, has been thoughtfully designed to ensure that this high-end spec home not only meets but surpasses the expectations of sophisticated living and committing to quality. This home is not just built for today but crafted to enrich lives for generations to come.
